WeGoWEGO (Women encouraging Global outreach)
WeGo was formed in April 1945 with it's original name being Women's Missionary Society. It's purpose is to support and encourage our Global Outreach partners and others both in our community and around the globe. The group meets on the second Thursday of each month, first meeting in the sewing house at 8:00 a.m. to cut, sew and knot comforters to be shipped around the world, and later holding a monthly meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 p.m. The meeting time consists of sharing updates, praises, and prayer requests followed by prayer for our global outreach partners, and planning upcoming events/activities. Activities of the group include: encouraging our GO partners by sending cards/letters throughout the year; leading a Thank Offering dinner and service; Harvest Home; Ladies Christmas gathering; knotting parties; outdoor service/picnic; work day(s) at MCC in Ephrata; providing Scripture capsules for RLMC sponsored mission trips.
