About Awana Clubs
Our AWANA Clubs meet each Wednesday evening from September through April for children from age 3 through 6th grade.
Although AWANA continues to meet each week, we understand there are many who cannot attend. Please tune in to live.richfieldlife.com at 6:30 p.m. for the AWANA T&T Large Group Time lesson on Wednesday evenings. The Sparks lesson will be live on the RLMC AWANA Facebook page at 7:30 p.m.!
What is AWANA?
AWANA is a global, nonprofit ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. The name AWANA comes from key words in the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15.

Where do I go?
Clubs meet weekly on Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Richfield Life Ministries Church.
Cubbies meet in the church sanctuary basement.
Sparks meet in the Family Life Center.
T&T meet in the church sanctuary.
What do we do at Club?
Each club night consists of 3 segments:
Handbook Time: Clubbers recite Bible verses they have learned and think about and discuss Bible topics. Parents are encouraged to help children at home so they know the material before they come to club.
Game Time: Clubbers participate in organized team games for fun and to promote good sportsmanship.
Large Group Time: This is a special time when awards are presented for handbook work that is accomplished. The awards are very important to your clubber, and we make every effort to make their awards special too. They must be dressed in uniform to receive awards. Large Group Time also is a time when a short Bible lesson is taught, we sing songs together and announcements are given.
What About Bad Weather?
When AWANA is cancelled due to bad weather, an announcement will be sent to WGRC 91.3 and 90.9 radio station. Also, an announcement will be sent on the AWANA phone tree and published on the RLMC Family
and RLMC AWANA Facebook pages.
AWANA will be cancelled automatically according to the following policy: If BOTH the Juniata County AND Midd-West school districts have a cancellation or early dismissal on a Wednesday, ALL clubs will be cancelled.
We will try to make a decision by 4:30 pm about cancelling if conditions worsen
after school is out for the day.
